Snowshoeing Near Mt. Rose

The hubby and I went up to the snow for a few days and I told him I wanted to go snowshoeing.

I had to laugh at myself as we got halfway through our trek and I finally realized we were hiking a peak after peak so that he could snowboard down them. My idea of snowshoeing is taking a leisurely walk along rolling hills through a forest, not exactly straight uphill. It took me a little while to realize he had something different in mind. I guess the board strapped to his back should have been a give-a-way.

It was super fun anyway, just funny to me that we had completely different ideas in mind.
